A meeting was held on Wednesday 2022/02/02 between Arabian Gulf Oil Company with Halliburton in the presence of Mr. Issa Al Ogli, Director of Reservoir Engineering Department, Mr. Khalid Al Hassi, Production Engineering Controller, a number of engineers and specialists from both departments and Halliburton, Mr. Moataz Al Hassi, Director of Commercial Development of the Libya Branch, and a group of experts from Houston, UAE, Algeria and Kuwait via closed circuit.
During the meeting, halliburton reviewed previous work on the activation of closed wells in Libya and other countries, as well as the action plan that would select methods and techniques to activate closed wells.
The two sides also agreed to continue holding another workshop on the water problem associated with production and to take advantage of the technologies available to Halliburton in this regard.
