Meeting of the Owners Committee for the Development of Contracting Area 91 (Nafora - Awjila)

The meeting of the Owners Committee for the contracting area 91 (Nafora - Awjila) was held on Wednesday morning, 11/30/2022, in the main hall of the late Abdel Wanis Saad, in the presence of Mr. Al-Amari Mohamed Al-Ammari, Chairman of the Owners Committee on the Libyan side, Mr. Roland Beecher, Chairman of the Contracting Committee 91 (Nafora - Awjila), Mr. Andres Bermelig, member of the Owners Committee, Mrs. Mabina Freihn Legal on the Austrian side, Mr. Salah Al-Qatrani, Chairman of the Operator Management Committee for Contracting Area 91, (Nafora - Awjila), and Mr. Muftah Saad Al-Werfalli, member of the Owners Committee On the Libyan side, and members of the Management Committee of the Gulf Company, both Boubaker bin Amer, member of the Management Committee for Exploration, Production and Information, Mr. Abdul Muttalib Saleh Adam, member of the Management Committee for Engineering, Construction and Information Technology, Mr. Ashraf Mansour Matouk, member of the Management Committee for Finance, Human Resources, Supply, Services and Transport, Mr. Awad Kouidir, member of the Management Committee for Operations, Maintenance and Refineries, and the directors of the competent departments, in addition to Mr. Wanis Negm, Director of the Joint Team for Contracting Area 91 Nafora - Awjila), and Mr. Herman Shoubka Deputy Director of the Joint Team for the Development of Contracting Area 91 Nafora- Awjila), and directors of the company's competent departments

The meeting was opened by Mr. Al-Amari Mohammed Al-Ammari, Chairman of the Owners Committee for the contracting area 91 (Nafora - Awjila) and in a speech by Mr. Salah Al-Qatrani, Chairman of the Operator Management Committee for the development of the contracting area 91, he welcomed the company (OMV) in Benghazi, and also welcomed the Chairman and members of the Owners Committee for the contracting area 91 (Nafora - Awjila) and their presence in Benghazi to attend this meeting.

He also thanked and appreciated the National Oil Corporation for the continuous support of the company and the Owners Committee, which aims to increase production and preserve the environment, adding that the continuation of production, preservation and raising, in addition to the maintenance of equipment in all fields and sites of the company was one of the most important goals and strategies of the committee, and praised the important and great role of the company's users in the fields and sites and at the headquarters in Benghazi, where detailed technical presentations were made of development plans and completion rates of projects in the contracting area 91 ( The Nafora - Awjila) of the Libyan-Austrian joint team.

Mr. Herman Shobaka, Deputy Director of the Joint Team for Contracting Area 91, gave a brief presentation of the team's activity, indicating the stages of work for the projects identified by the Arabian Gulf Oil Company as part of its strategy to increase production, preserve the environment, get rid of environmental impacts, and the most important problems and difficulties that hinder the completion of some projects, and respond to all inquiries and questions by the attendees.

After reviewing the work programs and activities of the Arabian Gulf Oil Company in the contracting area through presentations, the comments and recommendations were made by Mr. Al-Ammari Mohammed Al-Ammari, Chairman of the Owners Committee, thanking the Arabian Gulf Oil Company for coordinating this important meeting.
