The workshop will focus on the subsurface geology and petroleum geology of the Cyrenaica region. The scope includes the main tectonic elements of the region, namely the Cyrenaica Platform and its flanks, the Marmarica Uplift and Terraces, and the Soluq Depression. In addition, the workshop will cover the Al Jabal Al Akhdar Anticlinorium, the offshore areas of the Cyrenaica region, as well as the northern part of the Western Desert Basins of Egypt (NWDBE)
